November 1944 Founded as Fuji Weapon Co., Ltd., (capitalized at 15 million yen) fully funded by Fuji Gas Spinning Co., Ltd., (current Fujibo Holding, Inc.)
Manufactured bullets for Toyokawa naval force by transforming the then current Washizu Factory of Fuji Gas Spinning Co., Ltd., into an arms' factory.
October 1945 Renamed to Fuji Kiko Co.,Ltd., shifted the business to manufacturing, processing, repair and sales of machineries and tools (while enhancing power saving of spinning machines, producing and selling knitting machines, shifted the business to producing auto parts in response to demands at the time).
April 1954 Started dealing with Nissan and manufacturing auto parts.
July 1959 Acquired the Honjo factory of Fujibo, fully funded the establishment of Saitama Kiko Co.,Ltd.
March 1963 Restarted operation of Saitama Kiko Co.,Ltd. as a Honjo factory of Fuji Kiko through M&A with it.
March 1966 Listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
October 1977 Founded and started operation of the Arai factory in Arai-cho, Hamana in Shizuoka. (current Arai-cho, Kosai city in Shizuoka)
September 1996 Listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
May 2001 Linked-up (Tied up) with Koyo Seiko Co.,Ltd. (current JTEKT Corporation)≫
April 2005 Founded Fuji Kiko Kurata Co.,Ltd.(current Fuji Kiko Autotech Tokai Co.,Ltd.) in Gamagori city, Aichi.
January 2008 Built new Honjo factory in Imaidai, Honjo city, Saitama. (fully relocated in May 2008).
November 2014 FUJI KIKO Co., Ltd. celebrated its 70th anniversary.
March 2016 Completed technical center by Washizu factory. (April, 2016 operation)
October 2017 TF-METAL Co., Ltd.≫ succeeded seat component business.
October 2017 Transferred all stocks of TF-METAL Co,. Ltd.≫ to TACHI-S Co., Ltd.≫
December 2017 Acquired all stocks of Fuji Kiko Kurata Co., Ltd. and changed the company's name to Fuji Kiko Autotech Tokai Co., Ltd..
Acquired all stocks of Fuji Autotech (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
January 2018 Became a wholly owned subsidiary of JTEKT Corporation≫ after the takeover bid.
Delisted from the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
April 2022 Unified business brand to JTEKT.
April 2023 Company name changed to JTEKT COLUMN SYSTEMS CORPORATION.
